9 Months!!

I can't believe my cute sweet Paige is 9 months old! We took her for her 9 month check up and she now weighs 19 lbs 4 ounces and is 28 inches long. I love how she smiles and crinkles her nose, sucks on her toes, loves her crib and her beanie baby pink monkey, how she finally started rolling from her back to her tummy, and that she only wants to eat what we are eating not baby food anymore. She is getting big quick and we sure love her!!

Past week

Beware of the novel....I decided that I need to do better at taking pictures. I haven't taken any in a while and I can't believe how fast Paige is growing. Today she started rocking and I'm sure it won't be long before she is into everything. Last night I woke up due to Tanner's frantic mom cries and after I got him settled down again I checked on Paige. It was crazy because she was on her stomach...and she hasn't rolled from her back to her tummy for a long time. So I know she knows how I just think she doesn't like to be on her tummy.

Here's a rundown of the week:

Monday-Went and played at Tanner's friends house and when we got home went swimming with dad

Tuesday-watched a friends kids, and we went to play at a friends house for the kids to run through the sprinklers....but we ended bailing early due to Tanner's accident on the trampoline. I don't know if he fell off the trampoline or fell off the ladder but he scared me! He cried for a long time and told me his head and his back hurt. He scraped his back, but I guess he hit his head on the sidewalk...I wonder if he had a concussion. I was really worried about him so we went home and watched him and he acted better after about an hour. It was really scary for a while though (we just don't have a lot of luck on trampolines...I don't ever want to get on one again!!). I then left and played volleyball at church had tons of fun...rolled my ankle luckily didn't hurt it too bad!!

Wednesday-I don't remember much about the day part but we had YW activity that night and did a video scavenger hunt. It was a lot of fun and we had a great time even though we didn't win!!

Thursday-Went jogging at 6 am with a friend loved exercising!! Then we did some things around the house and Jason took Tanner to get the civic's oil changed and then I took Kylie and Paige and we ran a few errands. We took longer than I expected so Jason took Tanner to t-ball practice...it was a pretty good day.

Friday-started early again as we went to the model home furniture sale. Jason got there at about 15 after 7:00 and I went and picked up the babysitter at 7:30. We got some good things and now I wish I would have gotten more! We got a table for our family room, 2 trees, a toy chest for Tanner's room, dressers for Paige and Kylie...and some other decorative pieces. We had fun. Then Tanner's friend came to play and we made bread sticks and pizza for lunch, and then we were off to another friends birthday party. The kids had a lot of fun with the bounce house and the water slide. We left the party early to pick up the babysitter for the night and then raced home to get ready for our date. We went out with some friends from the ward and had a blast. We got dinner at Ajo Al's and then did a little miniature golfing. I will admit my putt putting skills are very very rusty as I did the worst out of all 4 of us. Oh well but we had a great time and lots and lots of laughs. Van doors closing by brakes slamming, and the Uplander racing with the cars down Bell Rd., and of course the almost tipping of the van at a red light. Lots of fun!!

Saturday-started off great...Kylie woke up and went straight to the potty, and then called for me. We had Lucky Charms for breakfast (we are only allowed to have sugar cereal on weekends) and then we got ready for Tanner's tball game. Then I got a call as we were ready to leave and mom told me that my grandpa had been in a car accident the night before. Luckily neither my grandpa or grandma had been hurt or anyone else. They had totalled their car, and grandpa is in the hospital. He has pneumonia again, as well as developing a heart issue. Hopefully they will find out what is the matter and he will be okay soon. I have a hard time waiting for information I hope that he will be okay. Tanner's t-ball was great he had a nice catch and a few great hits. He is doing better with the staying in his position. After the game we ran to Sam's and got some groceries and the kids got hot dogs and drinks. We went home and Kylie fell asleep so Tanner and I played some basketball and then I pulled weeds. After that we met our friends at the pool and were there for a good 2 hours. It was really nice today perfect weather. We did have an embarrassing moment at the pool...Kylie yells at me from across mom I have to go potty. Wish she would have waited but she had already done the deed in her swim suit. Totally frustrated that she would do that. She's been doing so well I don't understand why every time we go to the pool there is always an accident involved. We had a good time though!

Family Pictures

We had a good weekend, busy but good. Friday we just enjoyed daddy time. The kids were so excited to wake up Friday morning and have dad home. Tanner and I went and got our hair cut. It is really cute I love my new color and cut and Tanner thinks he has rock star hair. I just wish I had a live in hair dresser so I could make it look that cute all the time!! Just a little funny thing Tanner said. Jason was saying how cute my hair looked and he asked Tanner where his (Jason's) hair was. Tanner said,"It blew away in the wind!"

Saturday we woke up early to make it to Tanner's t-ball game. He love them and he is getting better all the time. He still loves to get the ball and made an awesome stop. Then it was back home so I could get ready for a day with the YW at the temple. We met at the church and had brunch the Relief Society had prepared for us, yummy fruit and really good breakfast burritos. They had homemade salsa it was yummy. Then I was a little nervous that we wouldn't have enough room for all the girls but it worked out perfectly. It was a great day I loved being able to take them to the temple to do the baptisms. We didn't make it home until 3:30 then I had to rush to get everyone ready for family pictures. Yes we are finally got a new family picture taken. So excited to see how they turned out!! Then headed to Red Robin for dinner, the kids behaved great! Then it was home and kids to bed, and we watched a movie, well fell asleep on the couch before 10:00 pretty pathetic!!

Sunday we got up had breakfast, and even though we have church at 11:00 didn't quite make it in time. Which means we were in the back in the hard seats and didn't have very well behaved children. Our ward is so big we seriously would have to get to church at 10:20 to get a soft seat it is crazy but I guess I should do it because my kids seem to do better when we sit up close. I don't think I can even remember any of the testimonies yesterday. After church went home and cleaned up bubbles that had spilled in the cupboard (I don't know who did that...but I blamed it on Jason!) and ended up doing a little rearranging. We had a pretty low key day and had mac and cheese and hot dogs for dinner. The kids loved it, it was too hot to do any other cooking! I am not ready for the dog days of summer yet. Please cool down to the 80's!! We decided to take our Sunday walk around the neighborhood. Tanner wanted to ride his bike and we pulled Paige and Kylie in the wagon. Tanner has fallen over so many times on his bike that the training wheels are totally bent and pretty much non functioning. When we got home Jason asked him if we could take them off...and Tanner said yes. He did really well, and was riding without his training wheels. Granted he wasn't going in a straight line but did a fantastic job for his first time. I was going to video tape it, but I went in to get the camera and he ran into Kylie and she fell over and by the time we made it back outside he was done. Maybe next time!!

T-ball, anniversary, and conference

Tanner is now playing t-ball or should we say team ball? He is having fun and is so excited about practices and his games. I think it's pretty funny to watch him, he loves chasing the ball and tackling anyone who gets in his way. (We are working on that!) He is having a good time and it's a lot of fun watching him do better every week.
We enjoyed a whole week of Jason being home. It was great to have him home so the kids can all cling to him instead of me. And of course I love having him home too! I do have to admit that I feel just a bit jealous that Paige likes her dad more than me. It's pretty sad that she will cry if I hold her and she sees her daddy. I can't believe that she is 8 months old now. Friday she cut her first tooth, the second one is making it's way too, and she is now beginning to pull herself up to things, she hates being on her tummy but from a sitting position she will lean forward and get on her hands and knees. I'm sure it won't be long before she is into everything!

The 30th of March was our 6th wedding anniversary. I have a hard time thinking we have been married for 6 years now. Every year Jason always teases me by saying that he has to think about renewing our contract. Lucky for him I renew it! Really I couldn't ask for a better husband, one that always will clean up after dinner, who consistently unloads the dishwasher, who is a good dad, but above all is my best friend and encourages me to be better. He challenges me to do things that aren't always easy for me but end up being valuable learning experiences. Thanks honey I love you!!

Last week was busy, I had a lot going on every night. Tuesday I went and played volleyball with the ward. I had lots of fun although I do have to admit that the gym floor seems a lot harder than it used to. Wednesday was YM/YW combined activity and we hiked a "mountain". It was a lot of fun although we got sent on the easier hill because we were told the beehives and deacons were going to stick together on an easier hill. Well everyone went the same way except my advisor Chelsea, me and 2 beehives and their dad. We got done way before everyone else. But it was still lots of fun. Thursday night was leadership training and I learn so much every time I go to one of those. Then Friday night Jason and I got to go out!! It was so nice and we had a great time. We went to the newly opened Rubio's and got dinner and then we went to test drive cars. Yes I am weird I love to look at new cars and I especially like getting new ones. Jason had lots of fun and I think has found his new "wish list car!" Hopefully someday he will get to drive a fun sporty car again.

Saturday was t-ball again and then home for conference. I really need to watch it again I had the hardest time staying awake! Then on Sunday we watched more conference, cleaned up Kylie's "accidents" and then watched more conference. I loved the afternoon session (maybe because I payed the most attention to it) But the talk that really stood out to me was about motherhood. Something I most definitely needed to hear.

Sunday night Paige came down with a fever, and was up for about an hour from 2-3. Luckily she really wanted dad and not me but of course I couldn't sleep knowing she was miserable. She was burning hot so I called the Dr Monday morning and took her in. I was secretly hoping it was just an ear infection and we could get medicine and be better. Nope she had to have a blood test and she of course has a virus. The doctor wanted to check her again today so we trekked back. She wasn't too happy to have her toe pricked a 2nd time. But I love that the doctor was so through. Hopefully she will get better soon, it's no fun to have a sick baby.
