Latest Project

Before
After
This was my latest project, after not being able to sell the bed before we left Arizona I decided to change the look of the bed. We found the right color and I sanded, painted, sanded. It took a lot longer than I wanted to, but I think it turned out all right.
The girls loved it and I guess that is all that matters!

Tanner's Soccer

This season has been somewhat of a disappointment as far as soccer is concerned. Tanner hasn't progressed much and actually has gone backwards as far as what he was doing in Arizona. Here in Utah in his age group there is no goalie, have a smaller field, and play only with 4 players per team. They don't throw in but have to do a kick in, and have no referee's. It has been quite an adjustment but he has had fun, until the last few games as he acts like he doesn't care anymore. The Green Cobra's have lost every game and not just lost have been creamed every game (not that anyone is keeping score....ya right!).

One of the positives of this season was Tanner meeting a good friend, which in turn I have made a friend as well. I have been also able to be team mom which is fun to be involved a little with Tanner. We are learning to be patient, and teaching Tanner the importance of good sportsmanship. So the season isn't a total loss, but dear me we still have the spring season to look forward to!While the boys play the girls stay occupied by looking at a worm.

Big Little Man

We finally got Cameron in for his 1 year checkup, he is really one big kid.

He now weighs 26 lbs 5 ozs, 90% for his weight, his height measurement was wrong as it was less than it was for his 9 month appointment, and his head was as the Dr said a Headrick head. He is in the 90% percentile for his head as well.

We had fun celebrating his birthday, we went to my mom and dad's and celebrated with my sisters and both grandma's. Cameron got a little shy when we all sang Happy Birthday, but also loved the attention
?

He is definitely a daddy's boy, loves to say no, thank you, loves his bottle, his tiger and blanket, gets jealous if mom or dad is holding someone else, also likes to throw tantrums arches his back and throws himself on the floor. Really it is lovely! He likes to use his toy vacuum when I am vacuuming and likes to make car noises when he plays with Tanner's cars. He is a great boy and adds so much fun to our house! We love Cameron!!

Soccer

Kylie decided that along with dance she wanted to play soccer. She has done really well and I love watching her play. She has really improved, and I love that she isn't afraid to go after the ball. She is aggressive and has scored 2 goals so far...not that we are counting! I love watching her play because she is smiling the whole time. She will be aggressive yet she is smiling, and I love it! Way to go Kylie!!

Maybe listening is a good thing?

I've told the girls to stop climbing up the closet....maybe now at least one of them will listen? At least a mom can hope.

Sunday Drive

Whe took advantage of the nice Sunday weather and went for a drive up the canyon. The leaves were changing and were beautiful. The kids loved it and kept commenting on the colors. It has been fun to actually have a fall this year!
