Candy Cane Cookies

We decided to make cookies for Kylie's preschool treat tomorrow. The kids had a lot of fun rolling the dough and trying to shape the cookies in a candy cane. I think Tanner did the best but Kylie had a fun time trying. And Paige well just look at the pictures. She kept trying to sneak a few bites...but she did have a good time playing with the dough.

And of course we had to get a picture of this little cute guy. He is doing so well and getting so big. He talks so much, and of course will laugh if I tickle him (he laughed out loud for the 1st time on Thanksgiving). He is so much fun!

It's about time

Kylie's field trip to Basha's Supermarket. She had a great time, I didn't get more pictures Paige was hanging on my leg the whole time! My two cute boys, Tanner was helping me hold the baby so we could get ready for his game. He sure loves Cameron, and I think the feeling is mutual. Tanner's last soccer game was so fun. He was able to play against a lot of his friends. Tanner had an awesome goal, he stole the ball and dribbled up the field and shot and scored. He did so well this season and had a great time. Paige has a new favorite outfit.Thanksgiving was super fun we surprised family and showed up a couple hours before dinner. Jason's parents were truly surprised. We had a great time visiting showing off Cameron, and the kids had so much fun playing with the Headrick cousins.
With so much family in town we were able to bless Cameron. This is the first time that we were able to have both sets of grandpa's in the circle. It was so amazing to see so many loved ones together at one time. We missed all those who weren't able to be there!

These are just a few pictures of Cameron smiling at my dad, Jason and his 10 pieces of bubble gum balls, and just a picture to document how chunky our little man is.

2 months

Wow time has flown by, and I can't believe my baby is 2 months old.

He is so good, it makes having 4 seem easy most days. I took him to the doctor today and he weighs 14 lbs 6 ounces and is 23 inches long (I don't know about that one, I think he is longer than that the measurements are done so accurately marking the paper on the table and measuring it) He is in the 100th percentile for weight and 55th for height. He received his first round of vaccines, and didn't cry until the 2nd shot.

Cameron is the biggest of all kids so far at 2 months. He smiles all the time now, loves watching his brother and sisters. Receives hundreds of kisses and loves from Paige daily, loves taking baths, and is sleeping so much better. He will go down at about 8ish and sleep until 3:00. It makes my life a little easier. We are loving having this little guy in our family.

Halloween

We had a great Halloween it started by us going to Tanner's soccer game, and then we made a run to Sam's club. After a diaper (by Cameron his first up the backer) we made it home and decorated our sugar cookies. We started the cookies Tuesday and finally got around to baking them Thursday, and got to decorate Saturday. The kids chose the frosting colors and of course we had to have pink and purple.

After the fun of decorating cookies we got to carve our pumpkins. Tanner and Kylie enjoyed having dad help them cut out the pumpkins faces they turned out really cute it was fun watching all the kids (Jason included) enjoy themselves. We then enjoyed a fancy dinner of mummy hot dogs and corn. The kids really like the mummies and who doesn't like pigs in a blanket?

After dinner we got everyone dressed up for the big night and headed out. We spent the evening visiting and trick or treating with our friends. The kids got some candy and we were able to relax and visit with our good friends. It was the first time in our 4 years here that the weather was decent we sat outside and really enjoyed the night.

Some pictures of Cameron

Here is some of Cameron this past week. He is so much more alert and he loves watching his siblings, loves taking baths, and being able to see what is going on. I love that his smiles are coming more readily and love his dimple. We really love this little guy!

Soccer

Tanner has been playing soccer again this fall. He is doing really well and has scored 3 goals so far this season. He is being really aggressive and a couple of games ago I caught him elbowing another player on the other team. He came out of the game and said "I just want to push her and knock her over!" I didn't teach him that, and he hasn't seen any videos of me playing basketball yet. But he is doing well and loving playing soccer.

Pumpkin Patch

Tanner had his first field trip to the pumpkin patch. He remembered when we went a couple of years ago with some friends. I was amazed because he remembered some details about it that I had even forgot.
He was up early this morning because he was super excited for the field trip and to ride the school bus for the first time. He got his orange T-shirt on, his lunch, and water bottle and was ready to go.

The kids were supposed to be back at 1:45 and I thought I was supposed to get him early from school. I was there and signed Tanner out. Well he was not happy about being signed out early, and when we got to the car he started crying. When I tried asking him about the field trip he wouldn't give me any info. What a great way to start the afternoon. And I thought about all the times I ruined my moms morning or afternoon by my attitude and I guess what goes around really comes around! I am getting some payback. Eventually he came out of his funk and talked about how fun he had. I am glad that he had such a great time.

Here are just some random shots of the kids from this last week.
