Happy Birthday Paige

My little Paigie is 5!  She is going to kindergarten this year I can't believe it.

We had a fun birthday and went swimming and were joined by our cousins.  For her special birthday lunch she chose to go to 5 guys.  It was so yummy!  We all had a great time and left really full.  After we went to grandma's and had cake and ice cream.

Jason was out of town so we celebrated again when he was home.  It was a fun birthday week for our sweet Paige.

Fathers Day

We were so happy to get our dad back in time for Father's Day.  He had been in Alaska having some brother bonding time with his family.  I was glad he got to go but very happy for him to get home.  I don't think I was the only one...these kids couldn't get enough of him.

J is such a good dad I think mainly because he is a kid at heart.  He takes such good care of us and we LOVE him.

Can't say enough about my dad.  He has always put up with us girls.  (Which I am sure wasn't and isn't always easy)  We love him and I am so grateful for him.

Another Move

We bought a house!  After renting for the last 2 1/2 years we moved into our own house.  It seemed like it took forever to find something that was right for us.  There were a few hiccups but we had an amazing loan officer that took really good care of us.  It was such a relief when we signed the papers and got the keys.

Now onto the list of projects!

Swan Lake

Paige danced for the Academy of Ballet this year.  She has really loved it and has learned lots.  The class we originally signed her up for never had enough students so she was put in a class with older girls.  She really did well and for the most part was one of the only girls that listened.  At first I could tell she was the youngest one there, but she improved quite a bit as the year went on.

For their performance her class was palace maids.  She did so well learning her part, and looked so cute in her costume.  The Saturday before Father's day was her performance and the day turned out to be a little hectic.  The night before Kylie decided that it would be fun to throw-up, thus complicating the day even more.  Jason had the opportunity to go to Alaska and fish with a few of his brothers and was out of town.  OYbaseball decided to forgo the last week of the schedule and start with the tournament.  Of course his game and Paige's recital were at the same time.  With a little help from my mom, we were able to see Paige dance, and then headed over to Tanner's game.  Kylie just seemed to have a one time episode and I really think it was due to a lot of junk food, and the heat of cleaning our old house.  She ate 2 cheeseburgers plus fries, and a slush and was just fine.  The day turned out just fine and I survived it.

Paige got a little nervous and forgot a little of her dance, but looked super cute up on stage and I am so glad that I was able to see her perform.  She loves dance and I love having her dance too.

Last day of School

The kids had a fabulous year of school.  Foothill Elementary was absolutely great and we have had such a great experience there.  It is so hard for the kids to think they won't go there next year.  I am sad as too, they have been to so many schools, I am ready for them to be in one place a 2 years in a row!

We had such great teachers, I really can't say enough about this past year.  So glad that they were able to have a great year, sad to be leaving again but hopefully the new school will be just as good as this one!

Dance Festival

The kids were able to participate in the Foothill dance festival.  I loved how excited they got to learn the dances.  The second grade did a soccer dance? (it was a dance from Africa).  Tanner got so into it, and I loved watching him dance.

Kylie and the rest of the st grade danced the Mexican Hat dance.  They both did a great job and we loved watching them dance.  She has the best smile and I loved watching her smile the whole time she was dancing.
Hard to believe that the school year is almost over!
