Krispy Kreme

Kylie's preschool class went to Krispy Kreme on a field trip. I was looking forward to getting a behind the scene look at how they made those tasty doughnuts but this little stinker was a little too nervous.......
so we just sat and waited and hoped Kylie was well behaved. We then got to taste some of those yummy doughnuts!

Super fun and super yummy!

Girls Day

After the week of birthday celebration I needed some me time. I was so glad that some of my friends put together a girls day. It was a much needed break since Jason has been traveling so much. I got up and helped get the kids to Tanner's baseball game and then got myself ready. Of course it started to rain as soon as I waited for my friend to pick me up. Oh well can't be too mad about it! We had a good day of shopping, stopped at Last Chance, then headed to Mesa and walked through some fun boutiques, and had lunch. We then headed over to some furniture stores I have been wanting to look at but can't ever get Jason to go. If I only had a house that I knew we would be in for a while but it was so fun to look and to dream. We then went to another home decor store and were there for a long time. Half of us took off and we met up at DownEast in the Chandler mall. I bought a few things there, and then we headed off to a jean party. I was so tired at this point I just sat and watched all my cute friends find jeans, and headbands. It was fun but I was wasted. I had really wanted to catch H&M but maybe next time, we just ran out of time. We then headed to Cafe Rio for some yummy dinner and some talking. It was a great day and I loved spending it with my friends! Thanks Jason for holding the fort down while I was gone!!

Mario Kart Kraziness

So for months Tanner has asked for a Mario Kart birthday party. He has been planning and planning and the day finally arrived. I made some invitations and we invited all the friends he could think of I figured not all the kids would show up, and since we only do friend parties every other year. (next birthday party we will cut back some I think) We had only 3 kids not come so we had 15 6 year olds running around our house. But we had a great time and survived thanks to all the help. I had all sorts of ideas but my procrastinating side of me got the best of me and I thought I had more time than I actually did so we went with simplified versions of my grand plans.
When the kids first came we made a headband with a picture of a character from Mario Kart and let them decorate it and put their names on. Then we played some games, and I think the kids had a good time. The 3 girls that Tanner invited were cheer leading they didn't want to participate. I was so proud of Kylie she was in there racing with all the boys and had so much fun.

We then ate pizza, had Mario cake, and then opened presents. I was writing down who gave him what and I have never been so claustrophobic in my life. The kids were so excited with what he was opening that they got closer and closer.

After cake and ice cream the kids just played until it was time to go home. Tanner loved every minute of his party. I am so glad that Jason was home and was able to play the games with the kids he did a great job. After the madness was over we sat and played with Tanner's new toys and relaxed.

T's big day

Well T has been planning this day for at least a year he was so excited for his birthday. He was up super early waiting for his special breakfast and the red plate. He wanted sausage, biscuits, pancakes and eggs. He got 3 out of the 4 we ran as we ran out of time. He had a great day at school and was extra excited because his class sang happy birthday to him, and he was Star of the Week! He has been working so hard to be good and listen to his teacher that he was beside himself! He then got to share Krispy Kreme doughnuts with his whole class.

Then it was home and to the park to play. He got to choose what he wanted to do so the park it was. He had a great time playing with his sisters and I loved watching them all interact with each other. We headed home and then went off to Chick-fil-A for dinner. We had a great time talking and eating and after the plan was to get a churro at Sam's for dessert but T had a little to much to drink and a few too many doughnuts and wasn't feeling quite up to dessert so we grabbed a few things for his birthday party and headed home. All in all I think he had a great day. And I must say that I have a pretty handsome 6 year old! We love you T hope you had a fun filled 6th birthday!!

Welcoming the newest member of the family

Ma Peach!

J took the girls on a daddy daughter date Friday night. They were super excited and couldn't pull J of the computer quick enough. K had the date all planned first to Sonic for a slush, then to McDonald's and ate dinner. Their last stop was the pet store to look at pets. Well they talked dad into letting them get a fish. All the kids are in love with it, when Jason asked the girls what they wanted to name the boy fish I guess the first thing that the girls said was Ma Peach. So far a very easy pet and hopefully we can keep this fish alive!

I wish I would have taken a picture of my cute girls with their cute dad. K was all dolled up and wearing her new pair of boots that a friend had given her. And P was looking her cute self too, I wish I could just freeze them so they didn't get any older.

Sleep

I so love this little guy but why oh why can he not be doing this at 5 AM instead of doing this

He did discover his feet the other day and was fascinated with them. He kept trying to get them in his mouth.

Nothing else too exciting going on here except for the plate of bacon. We had a late dinner and Paige decided to help herself to the bacon that was supposed to go on the salad. I guess she enjoyed that more than the chicken rolls we had for dinner.
